Reverie One

In addition of being visually aesthetic objects, artists’ books can also deliver sensory experiences to the reader. Reverie One: Listen to the Book Fair is a collaborative performance for the 22nd International Contemporary Artists’ Book Fair.

Inspired by the ‘Blind Man’ scene from Jean-Pierre Jeunet’s film ‘The Fabulous Destiny of Amélie Poulain (2001)’, the work, Reverie One allows volunteer visitors to have an alternative book fair experience by ‘viewing’ together with the accompaniment and the narration of the artist/performer.
